German pianist and composer of Italian origin Christian Pabst is releasing his sixth album as a band leader: Rhythm Riot. Featuring the Jazz-Echo award winner André Nendza from Germany on double bass, and Erik Kooger, one of the most sought-after drummers on the Dutch jazz scene, Pabst presents a European piano trio of the highest quality. The original music resonates deeply, carried by the telepathic interaction of a group that has been performing internationally for many years. With a wide dynamic range, this trio creates everything from explosive energy to meditative tranquility.
