Formed in 2011 by five friends united by their passion for blues music, Heavy Petrol started by covering blues classics. However, their passion and creativity quickly led them to write their own songs, and they released their first album 'Petrol Train' in 2017. Driven by their unique blend of influences, including Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Winter, and Joe Bonamassa, Heavy Petrol have played numerous concerts, gaining significant popularity. Today, the band consists of six musicians: Woody on vocals and harmonica, Chris and Steve on guitars, Dan on bass, Konni on percussion, and Elise on vocals. Their journey has seen them share stages with renowned artists such as Brother Dege & the Brotherhood of Blues, The Allman Betts Band, Ana Popovic, and Junior Mack. Heavy Petrol proudly represented Luxembourg at the European Blues Challenge 2019 in Ponta Delgada, Azores. Following the success of their debut, Heavy Petrol continued to captivate audiences with their second album 'The Last Barrel', released unanimously in 2020. Their latest single, 'Sirens', released in October 2022, explores themes of temptation and introspection, showcasing their evolving musical process. Heavy Petrol is now ready for another exciting chapter as they prepare a new EP.
