Regular Guided Tour: Jean-Pierre Beckius (1899–1946)
The work of Jean-Pierre Beckius, particularly admired for his depictions of the Moselle region, is characterized by a wide variety of subjects and artistic expertise that goes beyond Impressionist influences.
To mark his 125th anniversary, this exhibition showcases 90 paintings and studies covering the different phases of the artist's career. Central to the exhibition are rarely or previously unseen works from private and family collections.
Additionally, it features works from the Villa Vauban collection, primarily including creations from his travels in France, Italy, and the Netherlands, as well as family portraits.
