Regular Guided Tour: Viaggio in Italia
The exhibition takes us through four centuries of iconic cities and regions of Italy, as depicted by Italian, Dutch, French, and British painters. It showcases idyllic ancient landscapes, a variety of vedute, and urban life scenes. The exhibition highlights elegant architecture and southern panoramas while exploring the omnipresence of Antiquity.
Notable works include Roman squares by Gaspar van Wittel, the Venice of Canaletto, and an industrial view of Milan by Umberto Boccioni. Interactive activities such as digital collage creation, a painting corner for children, and a quiz are available to visitors at the end.
