During the time of the fortress, a pavilion existed at Generolsgaart for relaxation in this seasonally open public promenade. Following the arrangement of the park on the former front plain, two concessions for lemonade stands are authorized. Villa Amberg and Villa Louvigny, with their respective performance halls, open their doors, quickly becoming venues for city meetings, concert evenings, varieties, agricultural, horticultural, and animal exhibitions, sports championships, and political meetings.
