The Musikkorps of the Bundeskontingent is the oldest professional wind orchestra in the region. The everyday life of these musicians extends beyond their military duty. They are highly valued by the inhabitants of garrison towns for their occasional serenades, accompaniments during processions, funerals, award ceremonies, inaugurations, other public events, and their charity concerts. During this free guided tour conducted in Luxembourgish, the audience will discover items such as a wooden transverse flute and an exceptional organ of King-Grand Duke Willem II.
