The Musée Dräi Eechelen is participating for the first time in the Biennale of the European Month of Photography by presenting, within the framework of the 10th edition, a unique project by Luxembourgish artist Yann Tonnar. This project is based on a series of composite images inspired by the nine lithographs by Jean-Baptiste Fresez (1800-1867), published in 1828-1829 under the title *Vues de Luxembourg*. Iconographically speaking, these iconic panoramas of Luxembourg City have left a mark on the collective unconscious, as they are highly present in the historical representation of the capital. Over time, these views have acquired a nostalgic or even romantic patina, evoking an image of the capital 'from the time of the fortress'.
