Since its creation in 2021, the Boîtes à Images Festival has established itself as an essential event for highlighting short films from the Greater Region, bringing together the Grand Est in France, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Wallonia in Belgium, as well as Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany.
Beyond the screenings, the festival offers a true immersion into the world of cinema, offering all audiences, and particularly the youngest, the opportunity to open up to image education through workshops, activities and meetings with professionals.
This year, for the regular competition, the Boîtes à Images festival received 166 films, with an average duration of 12 minutes, for a total of 360 minutes of screening available.
