Discover the city's fortifications and its old quarters, classified as UNESCO World Heritage sites!
The UNESCO walk will take you through a striking natural environment to discover the impressive remains of the city's fortifications and old quarters, which have been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1994. You will understand the important role the city played in European history. Starting from Constitution Square, the walk passes halfway up the fortifications through Pétrusse Park, the Corniche ("the most beautiful balcony in Europe"), the ramparts, and then crosses the old town.
