The Tower of Babel, a colossal structure reaching for the skies, has inspired artists across generations, from medieval mosaics to contemporary art. Over centuries, its portrayal has transformed from a medieval fortress to a skyscraper, sometimes embodying the essence of an endless screw. Every detail in these artistic renditions carries significance: the building's appearance, the state of construction, the atmosphere of the sky and shadow, the builders and their positioning, and the inclusion of Nemrod or the surrounding city. These depictions illustrate the evolution of our understanding of linguistic diversity and our relationship to others.
