Have you always dreamed of trying your hand at stand-up comedy, but didn't know where to start? This 3-day beginner's course helps you kick-start your comedy career. Over three interactive sessions, you'll learn joke-writing fundamentals, acting techniques, and improvisation, all in a friendly and relaxed environment. Under the guidance and coaching of veteran comedian Dan Belkin, you'll turn your ideas and stories into a stand-up performance and take to the stage on Saturday night to perform in front of an enthusiastic audience. Whether you're looking to beat stage fright, sharpen your wit, or just have fun, this course will give you the tools you need to deliver your first live comedy performance. Plus, you'll improve personal and professional skills like public speaking, storytelling, quick thinking, and—worst case scenario—you'll have a story to tell by Monday! Each session builds on the previous one, combining teaching, practical exercises and opportunities to test the material in front of the group, culminating in a graduation presentation for participants and their friends.
