Where does our food come from? What do we produce in our region? Is it possible to eat local or seasonal food in Differdange?
These issues related to the challenges of the food system and food in general are at the heart of the concerns of the Food Council, Ernärungsrot of Differdange. Its mission is to support the city's implementation of a food policy that is environmentally sustainable, economically resilient, and fairer from a social perspective.
The food council is a place for reflection, exchanges and dedicated to launching citizen initiatives.
Food Council Recruits New Members
Once a month, it brings together citizens and professionals from the public and private sectors related to food. Anyone can become a member and contribute their ideas and knowledge: residents, retailers, producers, farmers, those active in the hospitality sector, in the health and education sectors, in an NGO, or simply those who are sensitive to and interested in the topic of sustainable food.
