We are thrilled to announce the PwC rugby tournament (PwC Cup of Nations) organised this year by the PoP (People of PwC) Rugby in Luxembourg. Mark your calendars for Saturday 7 June 2025 and get ready for an unforgettable event!
Co-hosted by the Walferdange Rugby Club and supported by the Commune of Walferdange, entrance is free for the tournament that promises a day of excitement and fun (hopefully in the sun).
We expect around 250 participants from PwC offices across Europe and the US!
Event highlights and participants
The PwC Cup of Nations, established in 2009 and has been bringing together PwC's European offices for over a decade. Usual participants include teams from France, England, Luxembourg, Ireland, the Channel Islands, Scotland, Wales, and with interest from the Netherlands, the United States, Germany, Belgium, and Portugal.
Tournament details
The event features a full day of rugby action with over 250 participants. There will be full contact rugby for men and touch rugby for women. This year, we are also proud to support various charity initiatives and all proceeds from the event will benefit them. There is no cost for entry and there will be plenty of food and drinks to purchase, but bring cash as there may not be card facilities.
Join us for a day of rugby, camaraderie, and giving back to the community. We can't wait to see you there!
How is the day planned?
• The first match will kick off at 10am.
• There will be 10 men's pool matches, followed by a final.
• There will be 6 women's pool matches, and a final.
• Finals are expected to kick off at 4pm.
