Machiavelli, Pirandello, Aristophanes, and Teatrolingua: an explosive mix to approach, with lightness and humor, the eternal dispute between men and women. On one side, the 'misogynistic' fable by Machiavelli, Belphegor, the archdevil, reworked by Pirandello, where the devil, sent to earth to confirm whether women are the source of men's sins, chooses to flee his wife and return to hell. On the other, Lysistrata by Aristophanes, the first feminist piece of literature, where women, through a sex strike, compel the Athenians and Spartans to make peace. Twenty actors (10 men and 10 women) from 12 different nationalities, music and projections created especially for this occasion, handmade costumes and scenery. Join us!
