An imaginary dialogue with the great Russian composer Dmitri Shostakovich, exploring his writing, energy, emotional power, and humor. Pianist and composer Jean-François Zygel draws inspiration from Shostakovich for an unprecedented musical journey combining creation, repertoire, and improvisation. He will interact with the strings of the Kreisler Quartet on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the composer's death.
