Have you ever heard about the cimbalom? Imagine looking inside a grand piano. You would find a cast-iron frame with a wooden exterior and numerous strings played with small hammers. The cimbalom, originating from Hungary, resembles this instrument in all aspects and will captivate you with its soothing and exotic tones. Performing on stage since the age of 12, the young Áron Horváth has prepared a highly diverse program to showcase his instrument, featuring classical works by his Hungarian compatriots and commissions from two prominent contemporary composers.
