I feel that I must fight for my music. We owe these strong words to Dame Ethel Smyth, a pioneering composer and an advocate for women's rights during the suffragette era. Equally determined, her contemporary Joseph Holbrooke overcame humble beginnings to reach great heights. Both shaped early 20th-century English music in their own unique ways. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore their works in an intimate setting performed by members of the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg. The concert will be followed by a meeting with the artists over a drink.
