This Sunday, it’s Robert Schumann's turn to unveil the secrets of one of his works. A monument of the Romantic period, the Piano Quartet is the result of one of the most productive periods of his career, as well as among the happiest of his life. A fulfilled husband, a new father, and an artist surrounded by loyal friends, he was thriving in the early 1840s.
Claus-Christian Schuster will gladly share more insights, taking on the dual role of storyteller and pianist for the occasion.
