Two great melodists explored the piano trio: Johannes Brahms three times during his career, and Franz Schubert twice at the end of his life. In this concert, three exceptional musicians present each of the Piano Trios No. 1 by these two composers. With Renaud Capuçon on violin, Kian Soltani on cello, and Mao Fujita on piano, a true dialogue develops between the three instruments. It is almost as if you can hear them sing.
