Observing the landscape, the garden, and the city through the lens of poetry: six different walks in the parks of Luxembourg City will each see four poets read excerpts from their works. Alternating between botany, urban planning, semantics, and sonority, the poetic walks are an opportunity to discover LUGA from a poetic perspective and to meet writers from Luxembourg at the same time. Readings: Ulrike Bail, Serge Basso de March, Fabienne Faust, Tullio Forgiarini, Guy Helminger, Nico Helminger, Tom Hengen, Chris Lauer, James Leader, Robbie Martzen, Paul Mathieu, Tom Nisse, Jean Portante, Nathalie Ronvaux, Dana Rufolo, Lambert Schlechter, Elise Schmit, Luc Spada, Claire Thill, Florent Toniello, Nora Wagener, and Robert Weis. Each walk is unique! The walks last approximately 90 minutes. During this poetry walk on May 17, 2025, in the municipal park, Jean Portante, Tullio Forgiarini, and Lambert Schlechter will read poems in French. The fourth poet, Tom Hengen, will read poems in English. The walk is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Readings take place in all weathers.
