The Tree That Hides the Forest (déi Wëll, déi lafen am Bësch) is an evolving poetic and political project exploring the place of trees in our society, as subjects, habitats, and ecosystems. This vast program, rooted in reality and imagination, aims to challenge our ways of thinking and reinvent our connection to the living, in order to collectively bring ecological actions to life in Luxembourg. It was conceptualized by Karine Paris, Magali Paulus, and Sophie Zuang of CELL, in collaboration with visual artist Justine Blau as part of LUGA - Luxembourg Urban Garden 2025.

SENSES WORKSHOP (TOUCH) “TREE RECOGNITION”
with Karen Decker:

Starting with the distinction between deciduous and coniferous trees, the workshop will aim to provide the basics of recognizing the bark and leaves of native trees. The workshop will also discuss the difference in communication between these types of trees. A snack will be provided.
