From the entrance of the exhibition, located in the main hall, visitors are introduced to a new presentation comprising printed texts, documents, objects in showcases, mechanical devices, audio recordings, films, projections, infographics, and interactive screens. This range of media offers various content for all preferences.

To give a voice to those who experienced this challenging period, audio testimonies accompany each panel of the historical exhibition, accessible via QR codes.

While the exhibition primarily adopts a thematic approach, the two timelines on the ground floor and first floor allow interested visitors to delve deeper into the details of the story.

To lend a human touch to the narrative, short biographies reveal the lives of individuals directly involved. This methodology is also apparent in the biographical niches of the main hall, which feature 28 historical figures and 16 current residents of Luxembourg recounting their experiences as victims, civilians, or actors.
