The traveling exhibition in French and German, presented from March 8 to September 15, 2025, at the National Museum in Esch-sur-Alzette, explores the lives and experiences of approximately 7,000 women deported from France and Luxembourg to the Ravensbrück concentration camp due to politically motivated repression. It highlights the diversity of these women's social and national backgrounds and shows how resistance and persecution were influenced by traditional gender roles. The various aspects of resistance, detention, and survival are told through selected biographies.
