Discover a unique combined tour for the residents of Clervaux, visiting “The Family of Man” and “Clervaux – Cité de l’image”.
“The Family of Man” is an exceptional collection of 503 photographs by 273 artists from 68 countries, created in 1955 by Edward Steichen for the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMA). Since 1994, this collection has been permanently displayed at Clervaux Castle and has been listed on the UNESCO Memory of the World register since 2003.
Clervaux – Cité de l’image focuses on contemporary photography exhibited outdoors, where the annual and thematic program transforms the town into a unique outdoor gallery. Discover artworks on walls, throughout flower gardens, and along the maze-like streets.
