As part of Embellie, Carole Louis, a multidisciplinary visual artist from Belgium, invites visitors into her studio to explore her creative world. Her residency examines gender stereotypes and the notion of multiple identities, through tragicomic analyses of power dynamics, combining sculptures, installations, and performances.

Carole Louis, born in 1985 in Germany, lives in a Walloon village. She earned a master's degree in sculpture from La Cambre, Brussels, in 2009. Recently, she has exhibited at various venues such as ICA Cologne and JAP in Brussels, and has participated in residencies in Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Belgium.
