Oakland-based musician Kathryn Mohr released her first EP, titled 'As If', in 2020, featuring an analog-synth-based amalgamation of dark ruminative songs that garnered the attention of DIY artists and the record label The Flenser. Her second EP, 'Holly' (2022, co-produced by Madeline Johnston of Midwife), shone as a collection of guitar songs intermitting with desolate electronic interludes. In January 2025, Mohr released her debut record, 'Waiting Room', written and recorded during a one-month isolation stay in Iceland.
