Leïla Shahid, who has consistently championed the voice of Palestine, retraces the past to share the memories her mother, Sirine Husseini Shahid, conveyed to her before compiling them into a book, 'Memories of Jerusalem'. Employing rich archival materials, the history of this distinguished family who were actively involved in the Palestinian national movement intertwines with the collective narrative of a people spanning nearly a century.
