Yoshimi, in the process of getting a divorce, moves with her daughter Ikuko into an old apartment building in the suburbs of Tokyo. Strange phenomena quickly begin to appear: a little girl in a yellow raincoat haunts the hallways, a red bag keeps reappearing, and disturbing streams of water invade the apartment. A supernatural presence seems to be trying to separate mother and child.
