Meule is all about a killer combo: Valentin Pedler’s guitar and synths having a riotous chat with not one, but two drum sets, deftly played by Marine Flèche and Dorris Biayenda. The whole gig unfolds as a wild sonic party that captures your attention.
In their latest album, Dare, Meule expands their musical boundaries. From the psych-garage rock vibes of bands like Osees or King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard (their favorites) to incorporating electro, techno, and even some catchy pop features. It's a rich album, filled with nods to electro-acoustic legends, packed with clever ideas and dynamism.
