Pinocchio, the talking wooden log from the imagination of Carlo Collodi, inspired Sofia Nappi for this new choreography. In Pupo, a troupe of 7 dancers showcases their prowess: the dance pulses with a vibrant tempo, the physical commitment is unconditional, and the muscles quiver as if controlled by the strings of a virtuoso puppeteer. After working with Hofesh Shechter's shows and being a regular guest at international companies (Nederlands Dans Theater, Scottish Dance Theatre...), the Italian choreographer poses the question: How can we adults rediscover the impulsive and joyful essence of our childhood?
