It is in the zambras of Sacromonte, a type of cave in the gypsy neighborhoods of Granada, that Fuensanta La Moneta honed her skills, like many other great flamenco artists. In three scenes featuring styles such as seguiriya, solea, and tango, Vínculos celebrates the connection between the music of composer Mauricio Sotelo, a longtime companion of the Andalusian artist, and the intimate and wild dance she cherishes. Present and simultaneously detached, in a space chosen solely by herself where she answers to no one, La Moneta presents flamenco of incandescent beauty, impossible to possess, as part of FlamencoFestival Esch.
