Do-It-Yourself Bonsai Workshop

During the Do-it-yourself Bonsai workshop, organized by the Luxembourgish club Bonsai Frënn Minett Déifferdeng (BFMD), participants will receive an introduction to the art of bonsai from club representatives and will be guided by experienced members to perform an initial shaping on a plant provided free of charge.
This shaping entails uncovering the root base (nebari), selecting the front side, choosing branches, and defining the future style of the bonsai. Tasks may include removing unusable branches, adjusting the trunk position, and, if needed, applying wiring to achieve the desired movement.
At the end of the workshop, participants will receive the plant to continue their bonsai journey. BFMD remains available throughout the season for any inquiries regarding plant care.

Minimum age to participate: 15 years old.
Price: €10.
Location: Pétrusse Valley.
Hours: July 6, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
