Additionally, it takes us through the spirited rhythms of ragtime with Florence Price, a contemporary of George Gershwin who remained unnoticed during her time due to racial and gender bias. Jeneba Kanneh-Mason, the fifth in an exceptional musical family, has championed this concerto, earning a remarkable debut at the BBC Proms in London.
