A pioneer of engaged contemporary dance, Lia Rodrigues works with her company in the heart of the Maré favela in Rio de Janeiro. With compelling collective strength, her performances often feature dancers covered with fabrics, plastic materials, or nude, united by an intense and fervent proximity. "Borda" continues in this tradition. Here, dance challenges barriers and exclusion, creating a community longing for movement, sharing, and new horizons. Borders, an illusion?
