For over 10 years, Ycare has been blending pop and French chanson. He writes songs for himself, but also for numerous artists such as Zaz, Nolwenn Leroy, Joyce Jonathan, Amel Bent, and Garou. In 2022, he returns with the album *Des millions d’années*, followed in 2023 by *Nos futurs*, a duet project featuring Patrick Bruel, Mentissa, Anne Sila, and Garou, among others.
After a busy year, Ycare wraps up 2024 with the release of his novel *Tout le monde naît avec des ailes* (Plon) and a new single: “Le Fou et le Roi.” This adaptation of Coldplay’s famous “Viva la Vida” carries a powerful message of resilience, centered on fall, forgiveness, and rebirth.
With this track, Ycare pays tribute to the light that has been passed down to him, while remaining faithful to the spirit and emotion of the original work.
