Party Dozen's 2022 album was not the duo's first record, but it marked the real ascent for saxophonist Kirsty Tickle and percussionist Jonathan Boulet. It was the album that received acclaim from Bandcamp, Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan, and numerous Australian radio stations, being declared 'Album of the Day/Week/Epoch,' securing an international breakthrough for the group. In September 2024, Party Dozen reemerges with a new album featuring a collection of tracks both more focused and intense than their previous works. Through its ten tracks, this album showcases a group fearless in their innovations, captivating with rich textures and exploring diverse, often startlingly intense ideas.
