Sustainable and Engaged Futures
At the crossroads of major societal and environmental trends, the "Sustainable and Engaged Futures" workshops aim to bridge the gap between science and the general public. Inspired by the Science Café model, this event provides an inclusive space for interactive dialogues between participants and experts. The third workshop features a captivating discussion with Professor Christian Vincenot and Dr. Kseniia Kravchenko from the University of Luxembourg on the role of bats as bioindicators in the face of climate change and urbanization. Following the discussion, an immersive field excursion will be organized, using ultrasonic detectors and thermal cameras to observe these animals in their natural habitat.
