With the help of a dancer guiding the audience, a sextet of musicians from the Orchestre National de Metz Grand Est – featuring strings and timpani – opens the ball, both joyful and vibrant. From Tchaikovsky to Glenn Miller, Bizet, or the Strauss dynasty, whether they come from salons, guinguettes, or the streets of Rio, their combined rhythms will make us sway, shimmy, hop, jig, jive, or groove!
