With a unique sense of observation, Abdelkader Secteur describes his hilarious life as a freshly arrived immigrant in Paris. Throughout this journey, Abdelkader Secteur dances with words, juggles with his body, and becomes all characters of the Commedia Dell’Arte by himself. Abdelkader Secteur's humor is unmatched, thanks to his unique way of playing with the Arabic language (specifically Maghrebi Arabic), his unconventional approach to common expressions, and his reinterpretation of old proverbs. A fully rounded artist, sometimes a clown, sometimes a storyteller, Abdelkader Secteur is more than a comedian. He is also the familial “uncle from the back home” whom we are delighted to reunite with.
