An actor, a dancer, four madrigalists, and five musicians present an exploration of madness, complemented by magnificent polyphonic madrigals based on texts from 'Orlando Furioso' by renowned 16th-century composers such as Orlando di Lasso, Giaches de Wert, Cipriano de Rore, and Jacques Arcadelt. The project, offered by La Chimera and written by violinist Margherita Pupulin, challenges the audience to reflect on the historical meaning of madness and its opposition to reason.
