The Schueberfouer is the largest funfair in Luxembourg and the Greater Region. From late August to early September, the Luxembourg City fair invites visitors to the 4-hectare Champ des Glacis, immersed in a magical atmosphere for the occasion.
The Schueberfouer is also a mecca of popular gastronomy and innovation. Visitors come here to taste the delicious Gromperkichelcher, the famous potato pancakes typically found in Luxembourg.
This is why the City of Luxembourg, the organizer of the event, is proud to offer visitors to the Schueberfouer every year an attractive mix of tradition, gastronomy and thrilling attractions, a unique mix in Europe in this form.
On the final day of the Schueberfouer, visitors can enjoy half-price attractions until 8 p.m., before admiring the grand fireworks display at 10 p.m. on the Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge. The Schueberfouer will close on Wednesday, September 11.
Founded in 1340 by Count John the Blind of Luxembourg, to make the city a hub for trade between Flanders and Italy.
