Once the main arrival point in Luxembourg, the central station of the capital witnesses a relic of its past coming to life. Under the intervention of Steven Cruz, one of the pillars of the old walkway today is adorned with an azulejo mural. Inspired by the Manueline style and Portuguese azulejo, this mural weaves a silent dialogue between memory, migration, and hope. It evokes pathways traveled, blending marine influences, symbols of freedom, and fragments of forgotten stories. Each motif invites recognition of a transient past and the understated strength of those who left everything to start anew. The artwork, hanging between dream and reality, leaves room for imagination.
