First Aid for Mental Health YOUTH (LU) (2 modules)
Parents of adolescents can participate in the "First Aid for Mental Health YOUTH" training at the Wooltz Parent Forum.
This training is the equivalent of classic first aid courses but for psychological emergencies. Participants will learn to:
- identify initial signs of mental health issues in youth.
- approach affected young individuals and communicate without judgment.
- provide immediate aid to a young person facing mental struggles or a crisis.
- guide the individual towards appropriate treatments or other forms of support.
The training combines theoretical input, discussion activities, educational videos, case examples, and practical exercises.
The sessions will take place on October 23 and 30, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Each session lasts 8 hours and is limited to 20 participants.
Important notes:
- Attendees cannot join the second session without attending the first.
- The training is not suitable for children to accompany.
- A certificate of participation will be awarded.
