First Aid in Mental Health YOUTH (LU) (2 Modules)
Parents of teenagers can attend the training "First Aid in Mental Health YOUTH" organized by the Parent Forum Esch-Belval.
This training is the equivalent of classic first aid courses for medical emergencies.
Parents will learn:
- To recognize the early signs of psychological issues in teenagers.
- To engage in conversations without judgement with affected youths.
- To provide first aid to youths struggling with psychological issues or in a crisis situation.
- To guide the young person towards appropriate treatments and other forms of support.
The course includes theoretical input, discussion activities, educational videos, case studies, and practical exercises.
The training sessions are scheduled for November 21, 2025, and November 28, 2025, from 8:30 to 16:30.
Each session is limited to 20 participants. Missing the first module disqualifies an attendee from participating in the second.
An attendance certificate will be issued after the course.
