Authentica’s energetic folk fusion music serves as a cultural bridge, introducing Luxembourg’s folk music to international audiences. Behind the name is Martina Menichetti, an Italian-Luxembourgish musician who explores ancient tunes, stories, and legends with a contemporary perspective and the skillful use of various languages. Her sound is influenced by Celtic, Latin, and Mediterranean music, vibrating with powerful vocals, flutes, keyboards, guitars, and percussion. Authentica’s debut album “Out in the Light” was released in early 2025 and has already received glowing praise from the press.

A chance meeting brought Elya and Sven together as they each performed their original songs at an open mic event. They immediately took a liking to each other’s work, feeling a strong musical kinship that has guided their songwriting adventures ever since.
