This summer, the Luxembourg Commission for UNESCO organizes at LUGA a series of 7 public conferences addressing the theme 'UNESCO natierlech' and our relationship with nature. Dr. Robert Philippart, honorary UNESCO Site Manager, will discuss the 2011 recommendation on the historical urban landscape, emphasizing the interconnection between architecture, memory, practices, natural environment, and topography. In 2024, the site 'Luxembourg, old quarters and fortifications' is named Champion and Leader of Historic Cities by UNESCO.
