For each Musical Morning, the Villa Vauban invites musicians to select artworks from the permanent exhibition. They then associate each painting with a musical piece which, in their view, matches its mood or story. During the concert, the paintings are projected while the music resonates in the room. After each piece, a museum mediator narrates the story of the artwork: the artist, the era, the secrets of the image, etc. A wonderful way to discover art differently—by listening, watching, and dreaming.
