As xenophobia and extremism are once again on the agenda in Europe, little Luxembourg, with its 50% foreign population, is a perfect example of resistance to xenophobia. After all, since the industrial revolution, Luxembourg has always welcomed various immigrant groups with open arms – hasn't it?
In "Bouneschlupp," two young actresses and musicians break away from the usual clichés, confront structural racism in their own family histories, and find the perfect remedy for xenophobia: finally listening properly to the foreigners who have found refuge in our country.
