A performance that breaks the silence around menopause with tenderness, humour, and honesty.
After an injury, Icelandic artist Lovísa Ósk Gunnarsdóttir began questioning the ageing female body and the lack of understanding surrounding menopause. By giving voice to women from across Iceland, she created a warm piece blending stand-up, dance, and video.
Moving between vulnerability and laughter, the work invites us to embrace this rite of passage - hot flushes and mood swings included - with curiosity, compassion, and joy.
