In this one-woman show, Mexican clown Gabriela Muñoz tenderly tackles the gap between youth and old age. Brimming with spirit and joie de vivre, Julieta invites us into her home, which has become her entire universe. Through her daily routines, we witness the various stages of life and how our self-image shifts, warps, and reinvents itself over time. As her world increasingly takes the shape of a mirror maze of memories, Julieta learns to master the art of keeping her smile. Inspired by the story of her great aunt and born from deep compassion for elderly people isolated during the pandemic, this creation transcends the boundaries of verbal language to embrace the human experience in all its richness. A sensitive and witty ode to the passing of time, memory, and a life lived to the fullest.
